collage
through collaging I figured out that my robots paint scheme defines there tone, I played around a lot with un connected figures to mirror the multi connecting limbs. I also found a bountiful brush stroked image which I used a lot.
contextual study on Scott Pilgrim vs. the world
this study was very spontaneous for me, after re-watching 'Scott pilgrim vs. the world' because I heard a new series came out. I wondered how close was it to the book series plus I love there camera angles, use of speed lines, onamaterpier and the screen size changing.
also after my research I found it being more complicated in comparison to other comic to screen adaptation.
my robots habitats
in the past weeks I described my robot as worn, damaged and has military elements. I first focused on a theme of my habitats, what state is it in. is it lively or quiet? is it local to me or far away? dose it mirror my robot, a product of a waste land.
I chose to mirror my habitat after where I live, this helped with primary photos of locations, flooded bridges, and frosty fields. I wanted to create a 3d habitats so my designs functioned of 3d drawings.
I needed to make 3 habitats, one of a interior and tow terrestrial. I've done a couple designs to get some ideas down and liked a lot of them so I mixed them tougher with a base theme of a quiet waste land ravished by snow and floods with only giant robots wondering its ruins.
I chose a flooded town like York during winter, a snowy train crossing in the country side and a ruined petrol station with its roof caved in.
